Multi-State Lender
Does this question resonate with you or someone you know? Well here is an answer!
Typically, lenders want a two-year employment history for those looking to qualify for a home loan.
Schooling in the profession you are going into can count towards the two-year history as well. Example: On-the-job paralegal training and then starting your career as a paralegal. With as little as 30 days on-the-job training (and pay stubs for proof), that could qualify as regular work income.
For those who are considered "part time" employees, most lenders require a two-year work history as part of the loan application. This is used to verify the average number of hours you are working per week to confirm your income.
